3dm into revit

Hello everyone.

I am trying to import a 3dm of a roof I made into revit as a family, but when I do this using RIR, I get an error.

I am running Rhino Version 8 SR17
Revit version 2025.4
Error: Must be addressed in order to continue.
No elements to show
Parameter name: Elements
Error 1.

I have not used Revit much so if this is an easy fix, I will know it for the future, thank you!

Hi Brandt,

Imports into Revit have to conform to Revit’s internal geometry rules and tolerances.

The best way to troubleshoot is to use a Add DirectShape component, it will try several different levels of import and output what it can.

It will highlight with the orange edges and dots where things are not in tolerance.
