3D connexion spinning without input

I have a 3D connexion mouse that is about a year old. I stopped using it after a few months as i found it created a camera bug in my Detail Views (where the camera target went to Pluto when i moved the camera in a Detail), so I stopped using it.

I just tried plugging it in again to see if I have any better luck but as soon as i move in a viewport, I get continuous movement. The camera doesn’t stop moving after I take my hand off the mouse.

Is the mouse defective or is there anything else i can try to fix this?

all good. installed updated drivers and spinning stopped.

Updated drivers are almost always a good idea. I think these devices have a re-calibration tool that can fix that drifting problem too.
