Raster images can be engraved. Then the laser works akin to a printer, going line by line, pixel by pixel at for example 500 DPI.

Once trimmed, the image disappears.
Trimmed and rotated picture frames do not currently print in vector. Only basic rectangular shapes for V5

what happened to this request? Rhino 6 has shipped and still there are no gradient Hatches 
This in conjunction with the new Print Display command would make the creation of presentation 2D drawings in Rhino so much more fluid!
