Wrap curved spline into circle

Hi,

I would like to create waved lines (think about i.e. sinus curves) and then when I like the curves wrap them to build a perfect circle (given of course that start and end of the line combined will build a continuous curve).
My idea is to create modifications based on a straight line…and then bond them in a second step into a circle…
Unfortunately the typical bend transforms the curves too much…Is there any way I can wrap those curve into circles? Do I miss something?

Probably want to try FlowAlongCurve from the straight (base) line to the circle.

I am still using Rhino 5…There I only have FlowAlongSurface (not curve). is this a new command?
