Just like the AutoCplane feature faster our workflow, i have a little suggestion to make it even more smoother. Pressing Ctrl_+Shift+RMB to create clipping plane at cursor, the plane of the clipping plane will be 1 of 6 ortho views just as we press Ctrl+shift while orbitting and our view set to nearest ortho view.
Even can be set to clipping view
