Hi, I use Rhino 7 on Windows 10. Unfortunately, my SSD has bent on my motherboard due to the too-thick thermal pad. Therefore, I can’t turn my PC and Rhino on.
So, in an alternative way, I’d love to try to find the file path and extract files from SSD using an external connection to get my unsaved display mode settings. Please help me out.

Those settings are not saved to a separate file but are embedded in the settings-Scheme__Default.xml file in this folder:
%AppData%\McNeel\Rhinoceros\7.0\settings

Dear Wim, Thx!!! I didn’t know about this, and I do appreciate your kind and clear explanation. I’ll leave additional comments if it works when I copy and paste the file after I get my SSD from the recovery centre!!
