Within Block Edit "show" command shows all objects outside block

When I isolate a block, enter blockedit, hide some objects within the block, and then use the Show command to bring them back, all the objects outside the block are shown and become selectable.

this happens every time. when I exit the block editor, it saves my block changes and hides the non-block geometry again, the way I had it.

not sure what happens if I edit the non-block geometry while inside the block editor. does it become a part of the block? do the changes remain after exiting block edit? I haven’t experimented.

pretty sure show and hide commands should only apply to objects within the block, when editing the block.

anyone else? solutions? couldn’t find a thread.

update: changes made to objects outside the block remain in the model outside the block after exiting blockedit, re-hidden upon exiting along with everything else besides the block.
