Wish Osnaps to ignore a specified layer, is this possible?

Hi, V5
I have a drawn grid and do not want to snap to it, layer is locked but that doesnt stop Osnaps.
Is there a command or something that will allow me to indicate that layer and stop it being snapped to, but also allow me to return it to snappy mode ?

Hello - see if SnapToLocked is a thing in V5, I cannot remember if it is in there.

Hi Pascal,
yes it is in V5
I see your line of thinking, disable snapped to locked grid.
I do though have a few layers locked I need to sometimes snap to, and one that is a must have locked, datums. so it would deny me datums but I could I guess undo and rede that command.
