Since “Layout Groups” have been added in Rhinoceros 9, which is a very welcome improvement, I would like to suggest a similar feature for Blocks.
The Block Manager can become quite extensive, and organizing blocks into groups would significantly improve clarity and usability. For example, blocks could be structured into categories such as entourage/staffage, construction assemblies, title blocks, elements, and similar groupings.
More generally, I believe that many list-based panels could benefit from this kind of organizational structure. Having it available for Blocks would already be a very helpful step forward.
Would it be possible to consider this for Rhino 9 as well?
