Wish about python (and other) editor unsaved script behavior

I have always found jarring, the “do you want to save” dialog that pops up for scripts that have never been saved, because by that point rhino is gone, the editor is gone, and I don’t really even know what I am saving, much less want to try to think of a sensible filename for it – for whatever reason, I am just trying to close rhino, have probably already shifted my thinking to whatever was the reason for closing it, and may not even remember why I had the script editor open at all

so I would like it better if the editor just saved these to some anonymous filename in the default scripts folder, and then restored them on the next startup; by using a particular file name pattern, behavior of these could be handled cleverly upon re-opening, such that if you close a tab for one of these, the editor then asks you if you want to save the script, same as it would have done in the session where the tab was originally created

probably applies equally to the rhinoscript editor, and grasshopper

Hi JD - yep, 100%, I have the same gripe - I think the new editor does this better but I’ll check and make sure to bug the developer so we do something more sensible there, thanks for the reminder.
@jdhill - just checked and the new editor does not quite do the right thing here.
