Will a Dell G3 15 3500 work well with Rhino7?

I am looking for a good laptop to use Rhino for personal and work purposes. I have read up on the required specs and “what to know” when looking for a good laptop to run Rhino.

The Dell G3 15 3500 I am looking at has an i710750H, 16 GB of RAM, a 512GB SSD, and an RTX 2060. I believe these specs would be adequate to run Rhino, I just want to be extra sure before I go spending $800. If anyone has any experience with this particular model of laptop, or any factors to consider besides the processor, RAM, and GPU, please let me know.

  • How much VRAM does the RTX 2060 have?
  • Do you plan on using a second monitor?

It looks like an RTX 2060 could have between 6 and 12GB. The person who posted the laptop on ebay did not include this information. I do not plan on using 2 monitors at home, however it may be a possibility in the future.

The Rhino system requirement for VRAM is 4GB per standard resolution monitor. It looks like that 2060 will be okay.
