Well, of course the command would have to be renamed “Selected layer(s) on” or something like that, but it’s such a basic thing to be able to do: Select one or more layers and have them turned on, while all other layers are turned off! And this goes for both the command(s) and the right click menu in the layers panel. At least for layers that are in the same sub-layer, if the reason for not having it, is the fear of turning on parent layers.
