i personally like the wooden panels more, it just feels a bit more connected to nature and not so cold.
from the blue hour images its difficult to say you changed so much also from the surrounding that it makes a comparison rather difficult
also here i sense that it could be rather critical, if there is no column hidden behind that may be too much weight for a cantilever construction. but that is just a quick analysis… sorry if i am completely off here
