copy & paste is normal to work, this problem occured on few day.
Is it have a any parameter to set?

Hello- I am not sure I understand the problem - is this correct:
Make several objects, boxes, say.
Assign materials to the objects.
Group the objects.
Copy/paste the group. >>> material assignments are lost?
What is the current renderer, Rhino, or some other renderer?
Please run the SystemInfo command in Rhino and copy/paste the results here.

there is no systeminfo command on rhino 5
I use rhino 5 sr14 64bit + vray 2 & rhino 6sr28 + vray next 4.2.003 have same problem.
I create new file is no problem. The problem occured on old file and copy/paste the old file object to new file.
but, there is no problem on the another machine.
How can I fix it? Please help me to fix it.

Hello - sorry, but it it impossible for me to understand what, exactly, the problem is- please describe the steps to reproduce it. If as it seems the problem is related to material assignments, please tall me what the current render engine is - is that VRay?
