Hi,
If someone is modelling lets say a soft skinned military vehicle, ( folk are using such for 3D printing models nowadays for marketing) or the canvas shroud over the area where barrel meets tank, an actual case taken from the internet of someone using rhino and stuck at that point), or a house with curtains, or a car with a folded back soft top, how does one do the fabric as such ?
Would it be to export the basic shape as polygons, use Zbrush etc to alter into folds, then bring back into Rhino and surface the polygons again?
I am wishing to show the final object which is steel with a canvas end. along with dimensions and text.
I cant have it with a smooth domed look, I can’t put that out to the world and see it in press etc.
So what steps to use ?
Steve
