Weird behavior of Vector Printing (v8 SR26)

Hi,

Using Rhino v8 SR26 on windows 11
I am having trouble printing using Vector Output. My layout views are set to Technical. When using Raster output, it matches the layout perfectly but when using Vector output i get weird issues:

  • Text located behind 3d objects are showing through even after using the ClearDrawOrder command
  • HideInDetail objects are sometime shown, some hidden objects are also shown in broken wireframe

Above is a screenshot taken in the print preview using raster output

here is using vector output

Is there any workaround to get a matching print using vector output?
I should add that if i set my detail views’ display mode to wireframe or shaded it works fine.

Thanks!

Hi Louis Roy,

Can you post the file as well as your complete SystemInfo? Thanks!

Thanks for reporting RH-91155 Vector Printing not respecting Hide in Detail

I was able to Print correctly in Rhino 7 if that helps.
