Wall-floor joint problem

Hello,
I recently updated to version 3.4.2 and noticed that the connections between the walls and the floor are not as they should be, especially what is enlarged as a core does not cut / connect, some times they actually raise a large part of the floor or layers of walls that are not defined as a core.

hi @11170
Thank you for reaching out!
I checked the file, and this is a bug; I’ve already reported to our development team.
I’ll keep you posted and let you know of any updates.
Best,
Melissa

Hi @11170,
I’m glad to inform you these issues have been solved in VisualARQ 3.4.3 version, which is already available to download: VisualARQ 3 - Version 3.4.3 released

good morning
07-20-2025 va Wall-floor joint problem VA 3.4.3.3dm (5.5 MB)

I just installed the 3.4.3 update and some of the problems have been resolved but not all.
The floor defined as core cuts the walls defined as normal and the wall also raises part of the floor.
see attached file
thank you

Hi @11170

I’ve reviewed both the file you sent. It looks like in the file named “va-Wall-floor joint problem.3dm” you were using VisualARQ 3.5, while in the most recent file you shared, you’re using VisualARQ 3.4.3.

This means that before installing version 3.4.3, VisualARQ was not properly uninstalled. So, the fixes included in version 3.4.3 were not fully applied.

To resolve this, please uninstall VisualARQ completely and then reinstall version 3.4.3 using this link: VisualARQ 3 - Version 3.4.3 released.

After reinstalling, select your 3D model and run the vaUpdate command — you should see that the problem no longer occurs.

Let me know if this helps

Best,
Melissa

hello , i did update to the modle but it did not work for me

Hi @11170

Did you completely uninstall VisualARQ?
Do you have Lands Design installed?
If so, please uninstall Lands Design as well.
Then, install VisualARQ version 3.4.3 and try again.
If it still doesn’t work, send me the file again so I can check where the problem is.
Best,
Melissa
