Rhino ignores the extrusions in your file.

volume_command_ignores_extrusions_in_block.3dm (628.6 KB)

Hi,
It seems like your problem occurs when objects inside of your block’s definitions are extrusions.
It works better when they’re polysurfaces.

Can we change the topic title to this:

‘Volume command ignores extrusions in blocks’

??

I did but this is really fatal error.

Hi Ivan -

Thanks, I’ve put this on the list → RH-81079 Volume: Issue with extrusions in blocks

@wim As this issue is a regression with potentially serious concequences for anyone relying on the Volume results for engineering calculations I assume it will soon have a stop ship or similar priority
.
