Viewport Titles in Top Left Missing

Hello, all

I have Rhino 8, and my Viewport Titles are missing despite the tick box in Options/Appearance/Viewport Titles is ticked.

I’ve also tried:

  • uninstalling and reinstalling Rhino
  • toggling between 4 View and other set ups (interestingly when I click 4 View icon in the Standar Toolbar the titles flash up for a second)

Let me know if I’m missing something, or if there’s something else I can try.

Thanks!

D

Hi @Dan40
First thing to do, is to run the SystemInfo command in Rhino and post the resulting text here - that might give an indication on what’s going on. Usually missing/misbehaving UI elements are due to old graphics drivers.

Hi @Dan40
I believe that GPU belongs to an ARM processor (correct me if I’m wrong), which is not supported by Rhino, cf. the system requirements from the Rhino3d.com website. “Not supported” doesn’t necessarily means it won’t run, but there will likely be problems like the one you are seeing, if it does run.

Hi @Normand,

Ahhh man. Thank you. That’s frustrating as it’s a new laptop but didn’t think to check this.

Thanks for your help, much appreciated.

D

Hi Dan -

You could use the Rhino 9 Beta. Windows ARM processors are supported for that version.
