Version 0.4.8.0 requires admin rights

In my company I can’t install Rhino 6 anymore and as observed eddy isn’t working in rhino7. I of course tried to install the 0.4.8.0 beta branch for rhino 8 but it appears that I can’t see Eddy3D ribbon unless I’m starting rhino as an admin, which is an issue on the long term. Did I make something wrong?

I saw in another post that you are working on a major update. when is schedule the launch ? I it supposed to fix this ?

Is this an issue only on your company machine or on your personal machine as well? I do not need to start Rhino as an admin to see the Eddy3D components.

I face a similar issue. We tried to install 0.4.8.0 on the company machine, and the grasshopper components did not show up, eventhough the installation process looked fine.
I’m using Rhino 8.8 on an Win10.

Would be appreciated, if you can advise quickly, as we could use this amazing tool during an current project.
