VAObjects do not comply with the “Shadows Ignore User Defined Clipping Planes” Option, in Rendered Views (or any view with shadows enabled). More specifically, they seem to turn, more likely than not, into transparent objects, that do not cast shadows at all. Maybe the issue is irrelevant from the shadow clipping settings and VAObjects just do not cast any shadows.
The same VAObjects, when exploded, adhere to the setting and work as expected.
This issue was not occurring in the past and is maybe related to recent updates (ie. to the snap to occluded objects?? Just brainstorming here).
Issue occurs only in Top View. It works ok in all other isometric or perspective views.
Even if view is started from ie. a Right view and then rotated with arrow keys, it works ok up to the very point it snaps again to top view.
