For V7 I wanted to add a wish to the pile: enabling MMB as 3rd shortcut for toolbar icons and macros.
I don’t imagine the default toolbars would need to take advantage of it, but allowing users to customize it and squeeze more functionality into less UI would be handy:
Any thoughts if (apart from lots of work) that may not be a good idea?
I think in case of 3 columns for macros, it would be handy to adjust their width independently instead of equal divide to allow some more space for macro editing…
@CallumSykes I just saw the YT item was closed (“If users ask for it, we’ll reopen it”).
Wondering if anyone else thinks this may be useful to support this wish/idea. I have little hope for this to be immediately implemented but for future considerations I don’t see this as any harm, just making the UI even more flexible and customizable.
I’m prioritising 8.x fixes and 9.x features and fixes and this one is actually quite complex to implement at the moment, but might be easier in the future. If there’s lots of people wanting it I’m happy to reopen it.
