V5 splash screen open has no preview pane

Hi,
V5
File open displays an image of each file as one works ones way down a list in a folder.

Using the open tab on the splash screen sees this very useful view not there.

So far I can’t reproduce that. Rhino installs a 64-bit Shell Extension to the Windows File Explorer that adds that preview ability.
Any chance you’ve been messing with Shell Extensions?

I did discover I could disable our preview shell extension then my system would act like your description.
I used ShellExView to look. If I disabled our Preview Handler Class, then my Open dialog acts like yours. When I enabed it and restarted Windows, now the preview panel works again.

Steve is running XP John, that’s why there is no preview when opening from the splash ‘open’
