Hello, please give me a hint. What do I have to do to show the preview of their content on the rhino file icons? Attached I am sending the PrtSc file icons: on the left on the previous version of Rhino and on the right on my current version 7.
Hi Daniel -
You didn’t attach anything.
You should get a preview in the Windows Explorer preview pane when a 3dm file is selected in a folder.
-wim
I don’t know why it doesn’t load the attached file. Basically, I mean being able to observe the contents of files in folders without having to open them.
Hi Daniel -
There is no preview on the icon. You need to enable the preview pane in Windows Explorer.
-wim
In Windows Explorer I have everything set correctly but unfortunately I still do not have a preview on the icon.
I’m not sure how to put that in a different way…
-wim
But there is the thumbnail if you select View->Medium Icons or bigger… should be.
Everything is fine in the Windows settings. Unfortunately, it does not matter whether the icons are set to large or medium view, I still cannot see the content preview on the rhino icons. just like the image on the left of the attached PrtSc.
On the left on the previous version of Rhino and on the right on my current version 7.
Is it set to open Rhino 7 when you double-click files?
I dunno, Windows is just a capricious beast sometimes, the thumbnails come and go on other apps with little logic. Could try doing a repair or reinstall on Rhino and rebooting…
From the Windows settings level I have tried all the settings and unfortunately no changes. I may actually have to reinstall the rhino.
Hello- do you have more than one version of Rhino installed? (e.g. 6, or 8WIP)
-Pascal
I reinstalled rhino and removed all elements of the previous version and it’s ok Thank you very much for your help
