So about updating Rhino.
Since Windows got the package manager winget, it has become simpler to keep applications up to date, imo. Tools like UniGetUI (GitHub) are great if you don’t want to deal with the console or the Microsoft store. I currently don’t have any software installed that can’t be updated via winget - apart from Rhino.
Is there any chance that Rhino might move to winget in the future?
I don’t think this is a pain point in any way. Updating Rhino is simple the way it is rn. However since so many apps are using winget it begs the question why Rhino shouldn’t follow.
I want to stress again that I don’t see any problems with the current Rhino update process - I’m simply curious.
