Unable to read GIS shape file using Grasshopper SHP component

I got the following error while reading GIS SHAPE file using the SHP component in Grasshopper:

1. Error while parsing GGG: The 'Microsoft.ACE.OLEDB.12.0' provider is not registered on the local machine.

(GGG is the name of the shape file)

Has anyone encountered similar issue, and what could be solution?

Hello sailor!

I’ve always used Meerkat or Elk to import shapefiles into grasshopper. The import shapefile is a new feature and maybe it has some kind of bug. If the plugins fail maybe there is an issue with the shp.

You probably need to install Access Engine
