Unable to create loft

Hi all,

I’m struggling to create a loft between my curves. Would anyone know how to fix this?

Didn’t look at your file but in general the curves will only loft nicely when they have the same amount of control points.

Here’s an approach to solve the problem:

Controlling the bridges in metaball geometry

In this case you need to graft the planes and not the pipes. Grafting the pipes leaves you with a data structure per pipe. You want to have sections per plane. In your existing definition you can look at the Curves input of the Region Union component and you’ll see paths with different lengths. I have no idea if this is what you want, but it is a loft .

• Set the seam
• rebuild to same no of control points as @martinsiegrist said

The solids in this version are each lofted from two sections, ‘Thickness’ apart.
