Hi ,
Vertices of subd objects are not visible in vertices mod , only edges visible.
I have to load My toolbar in tools running a new Rhino
Not sure if I get this one right, but if you want to use a modified toolbar setup, I recommend to make a copy of the default.rui, copy your own toolbars into that modified default.rui and save it under a new name. Then close the default and use only one .rui file.
use the PointsOn command to show them, esc will hide them again.
or EditPtOn to display the points on the SubD at the edge intersections
yup, good point for editing, though the vertices are actually reflected in the points on whatever difference that might make for the op.
there were wishes to show them all the time, or have some sort of overlay to show the controllpolygons and the subd simultaneously. i personally think it would make sense to have an option to autodisplay the vertices when a subd object is selected, very much like we have the option to show the cps of a curve when selected.
thank you very much for every advice. I will follow the advices
I love rhino 7 after rhino 5. Subd modeling is similar to poly modeling that other programs use. Vertices are visible on vertices mode for other cad programs
When I select just left or right border edges for an object with double clicking, All border edges become selected
I hope that Rhino gets an update
Can you make a short screen recording of what you experience? The question is not very clear to me.
Did you (accidentally) make a ring or loop selection ?
single selections are with one click
sub-objects can be selected with Ctrl+Shift+left-click.

after double clicking one left border edge, All border edges become selected ( I want to select left only edge loop)
I couldn’t do with ctrl+shift+clicking
1.Ctrl+Shift+left-click
2.Ctrl+Shift+left-click
3.Ctrl+Shift+left- double click
