Trouble importing .stp file

Hi All,

I am trying to import a 272MB .stp file and I have tried R6 and R7 without success.

I am getting the Begin Parsing notification but it disappears after a couple of seconds and then the file opens with nothing in it.

I have managed to open these files before but they were smaller 150MB - I presume the file size is not the issue though.

Hello - if possible, please zip the file, and upload to
www.rhino3d.com/upload to my attention. Please also include a link back here in your comments.

Hi Pascal,

Thanks for responding - unfortunately I’m constrained by an NDA so that isn’t an option.
I will ask our client to try sending a test file which I can share.
