I have a problem in Solid Intersection. I have some polygonal cells (closed breps) and want to trim them with the planes that are co-planar with the cells’ inner surfaces. The output for a 5 polygonal brep will be 5 Flat Closed Breps. Every FCB has intersection with its before and after FCB. I used Trim With Plane (Sasquatch Plug-in) and it just did not work for one cell! So, I extract the cell from the tree structure and use the Trim With Plane and this time it worked properly! I do not understand why the component could not return this cell properly when it was at the initial tree structure.
Moreover, “Fast Solid Intersection” (Sasquatch Plug-in) and “Solid Intersection” (Grasshopper) could not return all the intersections of the FCBs. I need to have the intersection of every twoFCB in a row. I need them to design the interlock connections between every two FCB in a row.
Can anyone help me to find out the reason and soleve the issues?
