Tri-Remesh : please make it more robust

Tri-Remesh is a bit of a heartbreaker because it lets you down when you need it the most.
What would it take to make it more robust / reliable ?

By the way, I just noticed how absolutely horrendous the “smooth and slower” meshes can be…

The only issue I see is that the sharp feature isn’t preserved where the mesh is too flat

What is the component you have circled please?

It helps to mesh the brep first. But let’s see what Daniel Piker suggests.

That falls in my definition of “not being robust”.

It looks like the issue is with an absolute tolerance value I have somewhere.
Your file works without any tearing and keeping the feature creases if it is at a different scale.
