Total newbie here who needs to thicken a guitar body, please help!

I got these two step files of a guitar body. They are exactly the same except for the pickup cavities but this is not a concern. The problem here is I need to thicken the body about 1.5 cm and I am really really clueless.

Here are the files:

Guitar Body 1.step (1.3 MB)

Guitar Body 2.step (1.2 MB)

This is the illustration of what I am talking about:

I need to change the dimension measuring as 31.202 mm, to 41.500 mm. I know 31.202 mm may not be the exact current thickness due to measuring method but it is pretty close. Anyway, it is about the final thickness and I need it to be 41.500 mm.

The bodies will be milled in CNC in case it is relevant.

I’ll pray for you, your wife and children all day long if you help me with this.

Thanks in advance.

In typical Rhino fashion those two parts won’t boolean union. Joined them in other cad software so once they’re joined you can try something like this:

guitar body merged.3dm (1.4 MB)

Hi, I’m not sure if this what you need? Also, I measured its thickness to be 35.2.
Adjusting a single dimension is very simple, just use Scale 1D. Hope this helps
guitar.3dm (2.0 MB)

Oh god! Mate can you please edit the other file as well? I am totally clueless about how to do it but this is exactly what I want. Please please please…

Thanks a million!
