NEED HELP? How do I merge two different brep as one?

I wanted to make a thickness like the wall but for the bottom of this vase but it somehow can’t merge as one brep. Is there any way to fix this?

Make two using different radii. ‘Thickness’ slider (blue group) affects all polygons. By the way, the number of polygon segments are all set by another slider but one at the bottom had a different value from all the others: 6 instead of 8. Was that deliberate or a mistake? How do you make thickness for the bottom though? Sorry for the repetitive question, im really new to this field.

There are many ways to add a bottom to a “vase” like this, including an inside filet. I didn’t bother in this case (search the form), in part because I realized my code in this thread was used without attribution in a different thread This is hasty. What version of Rhino/GH are you using? I did it in R7 with unit ‘Absolute tolerance’ = 0.001
