i can add a new toolbar separator and it is appended to the end of the toolbar buttons. If i move it to the left, Rhino 8 WIP crashes.

Upgraded to the latest V8 macOS version yesterday, and, yes, it happens every time.

I really appreciate the report though as it’s uncovered something a bit daft. We normally monitor crashes very closely and jump on them when they occur (whatever the cause may be). In this case this particular crash was getting sent somewhere no one would read it. I’ll get that fixed internally so it doesn’t happen again for any other crashes. I’ve pushed a lot of code fixes in various places that should prevent this.
If it’s not too much to ask, I’d like to PM you a WIP Rhino 8 build with the fixes in so you can test it and see if it still crashes for you.
Thanks, no big deal, I just tell my users not to use the separator (it’s visually not too good of a separator anyway).
I cannot install non-commercial WIP versions of any software, because my computer (and those of all users) is in a device-managed corporate environment with central IT management. I’m not an individual design studio/hobbyist user, so we have big bureaucracy here ; )
