Hi,

Hi Micha -
I’m sure if you are getting that bottom message when you start the WIP now?
At any rate, have you tried a repair from the Windows Control Panel?

After I installed the latest version I get no error, only for some plugins like RPC and Vray, but the toolbar is complete missing. Is there a chance to find my used toolbar from today morning? If not, what’s the best way to get the Rhino toolbar back?
Hi Micha -
In Rhino 8, you use the WindowLayout
command to save and switch between different panel and toolbar UI layouts. Currently, there are 3 factory-default layouts that you can always revert to.

Thank you @wim . I have the default toolbar back and it’s better than nothing. My previous used toolbar is lost but I can work now again.
It’s dangerous to update the WIP.
Hi Micha -
When you modify the default layout by moving, showing, hiding, or otherwise rearranging toolbars and panels, make sure to save that layout as a custom one so that you can get back to it.

After the new toolbar system has become so confusing in its function, I probably won’t customize it and leave it untouched. I will collect all additional functions I need in a new, own toolbar. Is then no longer so compact but what can you do.
