Generally, for materials, I use the texture sizes I want. The texture baking settings is strange because it suggest that deals with absolute sizes.
Are the small textures scaled up, for smaller things, which would seem to waste memory?
What might be more helpful: a setting for either full-sized textures, or scaled to a portion of the original, 3/4, 1/2, 1/4, and it would scale the textures in the materials.
I am hoping that the next version or Rhino deals better with larger textures in the materials.
[I just upgraded my desktop machine for GPU, and also a treated it to new NVMe drive. I am going to download the new beta.]
