The underlying annotation classes were recently changed. Grasshopper hasn’t caught up yet.
The only dll accessing rhcommon_c.dll is RhinoCommon.dll, so this must be some mismatch in RhinoCommon SDK. @stevebaer ?
Yes, it is a bug that we still need to fix. The bug is on my list at

In the latest build 6.0.17164.11481 text tag 3D doesn’t work again

This has been fixed. Please let me know if it works again in your most recent Rhino WIP.
