Does cycles have something like this like fuzz? I haven’t touched the rendering yet but the real time GPU stuff is awesome to fine tune an image

not yet… Cycles can do it, and we use cycles as our render engine, so we technically have the piping to do so under the surface, we just need to get it hooked up. However that task is beyond my scope of understanding to explain how big a job that is or what kind of timeline we would be looking at to do so.

@nathanletwory is the man to answer those questions with more detail than I am privy to.

For that we need to have a way to control particle systems that are the basis for fur / hair / etc. But in theory it would be possible.

it certainly would be amazing to have that running in Rhino. but does particle system mean some collision enabled dynamics or just a way to populate fuzzy geometry on a surface?
