Symmetric SubD ToNurbs doesn't get seam in symmetry plane

Green arrows show symmetry plane.

Orange arrows show seam after ToNurbs.

Yes, I know about SrfSeam, but I don’t think this should happen in the first place.

this is simply a product of the tonurbs process.

if you need a center seam- make the model in halves, then convert the halves.

I don’t think you understand.

The model IS a halve. I’m using Rhino’s own SubD symmetry command to make it whole.

That’s a subcase of this issue: RH-64292 toNurbs output from symmetric SubD (created with reflect) is not symmetrical. I’ll add your vote there. (The issue has a private 3dm linked to it so need to stay private, but we are aware of the issue and it is being worked on)
