Hi all, I’m trying to create a sweep with 2 rails and some seccions but it gets funky in the ends, loft works fine but doesn’t follow the rails that I want it to go. Wonder if someone has the answer or solution.
Thanks, it doenst really work because I need it to follow the rail curves. The rails were dreated from scratch, last component was pufferfish pointtrimcurve and it was trimmed with the last two oposing seccions so that the rails stop there, otherwise two rails would meet on both ends.
Swp2 follows the rails better but Loft looks better to me. I’m not sure which one is “correct”? Click the green icon to “Only draw preview geometry for selected objects” and examine them one at a time. Top view isn’t the only way that matters.
I don’t have pufferfish installed, so I’m not getting everything, but I wonder if Network Surface might work here? I’m not sure it would, but it might be worth trying.
So hard! Thats exactly what I meant, top view looks good but side view gets weird with sweep2, I dont know the reason, loft looks good for me both on top and side view but I really need it to be true to that outline created by the rails.
I would had thougth that loft would cause the same problem as sweep on the side view regarding to the alignment since it takes only the seccion curves to work
