@stevebaer, @jeff, @DavidEranen - anything you guys know about?
just to let you know, I’ve updated to ( 6.6.18163.7531, 6/12/2018 ) and the issue still there, and as you can see in the Sysinfo the version is higher than the one in the video, but both have the same issue.
Anyway I will update my GPU driver and let you know.
Thanks.
Yep, I see that here as well, if you have a backface color set, it “shows through” in parallel projection views at certain angles. Even in bog standard ortho views… don’t recall having seen that previously - I think I would have noticed by now. Also (6.6.18163.7531, 12-06-18)
Sigh… this is most likely a result (bug) of the per-vertex lighting shader that was added to solve the hot-spot issues reported in parallel views… I’ll take a look at this when I get back (on vacation atm).

using Version 6 SR7
(6.7.18171.4521, 6/20/2018) and still the same issue …
If you CHECK the option “Use advanced GPU lighting” in the Shaded mode settings, you’ll get the proper behavior… until I can fix this properly, that’s the only workaround I can suggest atm.
