Support for the Model On Layer visibility

Rhino 8.14.24332
VisualARQ 3.1.0

Probably you know about it, but just for the record.

Global layer visibility turned off. - expected results.

Model layer visibility turned off - one of the element geometries is still visible, but it shouldn’t.

By the way, this is a small test for the Object Interference from VisualARQ 3. My goal was to create two geometries, one of them solely for the cutting purposes to serve as a clearance for the pipe. This clearance geometry should be on a separate layer that is turned off.
In this case Model On Layer visibility is not crucial, but in other it might be. This thing prevents hiding geometry in the Model View but keeping it visible in the Detail Views on Layouts.

Similar behavior occurs when using the vaExportToDwg command. The export-to-DWG feature ignores the ‘Detail-Off’ layer setting. It only considers the global on/off state, completely disregarding the model or detail-specific on/off states. The same applies to probably all VA functionalities, as demonstrated in your example. I hope they fix it soon.

Hi @MichalKrizo this should work fine in VisualARQ 3.2 RC1: VisualARQ 3 - Version 3.2 RC1 released

Another example:

VA Elements made out of Rhino Block. There is no support for the Model Layer Visibility. Fortunately, it works with the Detail Layer Visibility.

VA Block Visibility.3dm (105.1 KB)

@Czaja you are right, we will revise this and let you know when it works fine.

@Czaja, this issue has been fixed in VisualARQ 3.4 RC3: VisualARQ 3 - Version 3.4 RC3 released
