HI, is there currently a way to do this automatically? Often, I find myself wanting to add overall or maximum dimensions to an object. Currently, you need to snap to the extremes of the object and place the dimension. (There is an ‘object’ option, but it seems to select sub-objects and not the whole part). I think it could be a really useful and timesaving feature as an option in the appropriate dimension tools. It could include an orientation option, for example in x, y, or z world / cplane.
Would be good to know if other people would find this handy?
