Successful previewing textures

When I got several objects in the scene I often struggle a lot with previewing textures. I tried to adjust mipmapping options but it’s not the case.

Sometimes the quality of previewed materials is so bad that it is very difficult to map textures correctly. In one of the showed examples it’s just a simple box mapping of grid texture so it’s not a big problem.
Much worse if I really need to see the texture in high quality. The second example (which is not the worst scenario) shows the same material which previews in different quality on different objects.

What is the proper strategy in such situations?

I’m using latest Rhino 6.

Hello - it looks like maybe you have coincident or nearly coincident surfaces, is that possible? On the last image, I think that is correct but it would help do have the chair model and texture.

Chair models don’t belong to me. How about the preview in the first example? If I ran into some more texturing problems like that, I will upload them here.
