SubD joining surfaces of this handle

Hi!
how can I fill the hole between these two subD surfaces?
I’ve tried bridge command but it distorts the original shape.
Then I switched to Toggle view and tried SingleSubDface command, it doesn’t work anyway.

Any idea?

Hi Erica - Bridge should work - you will need to insert a couple of edge across the handle to make the number of edges to bridge match up - but it should work fine here-
