Square Pipe with thickness

  1. I’d like to take a curve, and square-pipe it.
  2. I’d like to also achieve this on a circle and then shell it to get that thickness or have that thickness already. This means I’m trying to get a round, rolled steel tube with a square profile and thickness so it’s not completely solid.
  3. If 2 is not possible, I would like the right script to run any open or closed curve with a sq pipe, there seems to be a lot and I want the most updated and best running…

Hello - for your example, if I follow, you don’t get to have that in Rhino - that is, if you want a complete circle of a closed profile, whatever the shape, with wall thickness, then you get a closed solid inside another closed solid but not one closed solid with wall thickness.

That’s fine for now, I would like to know what the best sq pipe script is - to use… just on any curve, the thickness does not matter at this point for me
