Does anyone know how i can split a surface without it tcreating naked edges. I have tried everything, trimming, capping, patching and nothings working . Please help if you can!

Can you use .CAP to close the split polysurfaces?
I tried but it didn’t cap everything unfortunately.
Were the surfaces you tried to split - solids in the first place?
you can not split and cap non planar surfaces, use boolean difference instead, or to fix what you have use loft and join, and consider a rhino course that covers the basics.
Have you tried WireCut? WireCut | Rhino 3-D modeling
If you need to show a cross-section, you can also use a ClippingPlane for a non-destructive workflow.
