Solid modeling - closed Breps that contain faulty surface components

Hi, can anybody help with an intractable problem I have with solids created in Grasshopper? I develop (reasonably complicated) solid shapes via Grasshopper. Boat hulls actually. When I try to use these closed Breps to trim surfaces there are often faulty panels that do not form true intersections. Leading to local failures.

Any ideas?

Hi Phil - thard to say without an example, but my guess of the moment is that the closed objects have edge or vertex tolerances that are larger than the file tolerance. The What command will tell you.

Thanks Pascal, that sorted it - hadn’t noticed that 'Split Brep by Plane’had a tolerance set to 0.00…
