Soften a surface isocurves

Hi, I have a problem I currently have this surface

but when i try to divide it follows the shape of the surface isocurves.

how can i cleanit or redoit.

The V iso curves look good so you can extract them and rebuild them to equal out the control point spacing, then re-loft.
