Slow display

Hello,

The display jumps when there are too many lines (I guess) but just in perspective view (Parallel or not)

The last time I opened the file was in 2012 with Rhino 4 or 5.

B-v6.zip (9.8 MB)

I purged, cleaned, converted, I use the Rescure3dmFile command. nothing. Today in 2019 i can not work with Rhino 6. :frowning:

And this is only part of a big project, I have already opened much bigger (before the v6 of course)
It was before a great force of Rhino, It was displaying DWG files very fast compared to AutoCad.
When we receive a file from an architect, There are often more than a million lines.

Really ! I am worn ! I am always blocked by a bug in one corner or another.
Iā€™m wasting my time using Rhino and Iā€™m losing my money

Do you mean that tumbling the viewport has not smooth rotation? I donā€™t see any slowdown here even on the maximized perspective view. I turned on all layers and made sure all hidden objects are also shown. Rotating the view is smooth.

Can you perhaps do a recording of your screen with what you see and post that? (If you donā€™t have any screen recording software you could get for instance obsproject.com which allows you to record what you see).

edit: I did my test on the GTX 1060 ( Primary display and OpenGL: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1060 6GB (NVidia) Memory: 6GB, Driver date: 3-1-2019 (M-D-Y). OpenGL Ver: 4.6.0 NVIDIA 419.35)

Hello @nathanletwory

(sorry, I was a little tired)

In fact is just at the start of the zoom, rotation, translation.

We see that well with Ctrl + Mouse

thank you.

Do things improve if you load-protect (disable) the 3d connexion plug-in and restart Rhino?

Iā€™m glad it was something like that.

Donā€™t worry about that. Most important thing is that you can now calm your nerves
